Wallpaper Removal Services

Removing wallpaper can be a messy and time-consuming job, even when it is installed perfectly. With our time-tested removal process, we'll eliminate any mess and complete the job in a fraction of the time.

At Thrift Painting, we use an Enzymatic Wallpaper Paste Dissolver. This safe, low-odor solution enzymatically dissolves that stubborn wallpaper paste. This allows us to scrub off any residue preventing the paint from adhering correctly. We then rinse the walls with a small amount of clear, hot water. The wall dries, and we prep it for painting. 

Any wall damage underneath the wallpaper will be repaired and primed before painting. If desired, texture can be applied to the walls at this point, and then they'll be ready for painting. That old, outdated wallpaper can be replaced in a few short days with a fresh, new paint job!
